Sound Technician

Joel Schwamburger is in his first year as a Sound Technician for University Singers. A native of Columbus, Ohio, he is currently a senior majoring in Music Technology with a minor in Computer Science. Joel loves all kinds of music and he also enjoys playing guitar, piano, drums, and writing original music. He is a member of the Audio Engineering Society, The Grammy Recording Academy, and the Tower of Power fan club. Joel is also active as a worship leader and Bible study leader at the Ball State Christian Campus House. A fanatic Ohio State Buckeyes fan, Joel chose to attend Ball State because of the strong music technology program and the outstanding facilities. After graduation Joel would like to move to Nashville to pursue a career in the music industry, while also managing to marry a beautiful brunette Southern Belle, and eventually would like to have three kids and two yellow Labrador Retrievers.
